The “Super Extreme” DUI classification was recently created by Arizona lawmakers in an attempt to crack down on drunk drivers and decrease alcohol related fatalities in the state.  Those arrested for DUI in Phoenix with a blood alcohol level of .20% are placed in the Super Extreme DUI charge category.

The penalties for those charged with Super Extreme DUI include higher fines and a minimum jail sentence of 45 days.  As a result of the laws surrounding Super Extreme DUI charges, you will be facing a significant amount of jail time and large fine amounts if convicted of Super Extreme DUI in Maricopa County.

If you have been charged with this type of DUI, you need to be aware of your rights.  If you are facing an extensive jail sentence, fines and probation, you need to ensure that you have the best possible defense.  Attorney Ryan M. Garvey has extensive experience successfully defending people who have been charged with this type of driving under the influence.
